We are a technology consulting and digital solutions partner. For personal data collected through this website and in the course of our business relationships, Aventis acts as the data controller.
This policy explains how we handle personal data relating to visitors to aventistechnology.com, prospective and existing clients, partners, suppliers and job applicants.
It does not cover personal data that we process on behalf of our clients when delivering services - for example subscriber data held inside a client's Adobe Experience Platform environment. That processing is governed by our contract with the relevant client and is described in Clause 12 below.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through this website, and we ask that you do not include it in enquiry messages.

Aventis maintains an information security programme that is independently audited against the AICPA SOC 2 Type II standard, covering security, availability and confidentiality of the systems we use to deliver our services.
Controls include access management on a least-privilege basis, encryption of data in transit, monitoring and incident response procedures, and supplier due diligence. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take these obligations seriously and review them regularly.

When delivering services, Aventis frequently processes personal data belonging to our clients' own customers - for example within Adobe Experience Platform, a customer data platform, or a pricing or feedback system we operate on a client's behalf.
In that context our client is the controller and Aventis acts as a processor (or, under the Singapore PDPA, a data intermediary). We process that data only on the client's documented instructions and under the terms of the applicable agreement and data processing addendum, which you can read more about on our Legal page.
If you are a customer of one of our clients and wish to exercise your rights over your data, please contact that organisation directly, as they determine how your data is used. We will support them in responding.
